A Message from the CEO of CAST NEWS
A Message from the CEO and Publisher of CAST NEWS Christian News Networks.
Dear Readers and Subscribers of CAST NEWS,
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
As we journey together through the pages of CAST NEWS, I am reminded of the profound wisdom found in Romans 1:21: “Although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.” This passage speaks to the importance of gratitude in our lives and our relationship with God.
I recently heard a story about a man working on a roof who lost his footing and began to slip. Terrified and desperate, he cried out to God for help. Just as he reached the edge, his belt loop caught on a nail, giving him the chance to regain his footing. In relief, he shouted, “It’s okay, God! I got caught on a nail.” How often do we find ourselves in similar situations, crying out to God in moments of desperation, only to quickly forget His intervention once we feel secure again?
This story is a powerful reminder that we must not only call upon God in times of need but also remember to thank Him with the same fervor when our prayers are answered. Our lives are filled with blessings and answered prayers, yet it is easy to overlook the divine hand guiding us through challenges and triumphs alike.
As the CEO and Publisher of CAST NEWS, I am deeply committed to fostering a community rooted in gratitude, faith, and service. Our mission is to equip Christians to lead lives of learning, leading, and serving. This commitment is reflected in every article, every resource, and every message we share.
I encourage each of you to reflect on the countless ways God has worked in your lives. Let us not be like those who forget His goodness once their immediate needs are met. Instead, let us cultivate a spirit of thankfulness, recognizing His presence in every circumstance.
Together, let us glorify God not only in our times of need but in every moment of our lives. Let us be a community that consistently acknowledges and celebrates His grace and mercy. As we continue to grow and learn together, may our hearts remain steadfast in gratitude, illuminating the path for others to follow.
Thank you for being a valued part of the CAST NEWS family. Your faith, support, and dedication are what make this community so special. Let us move forward with hearts full of thanks, ready to glorify God in all we do.
In His Service,
Dr. Steven T. Castille

Biography of Dr. Steven T. Castille
Dr. Steven T. Castille, BSc, MS, DNM, is a published author, distinguished business professional and a valued educator of complementary and alternative medicine. He is currently based in Carencro, Louisiana. He holds the position of CEO and Director of the Enterprise Business Center of Louisiana, serves as the President of Saint Christopher College of Louisiana, CEO of CAST NEWS, and leads the continued asset and capital growth of Liteon Investments, LLC.
Early Life and Education
Dr. Steven T. Castille was born April 1969 at Lafayette Charity Hospital in Lafayette, Louisiana. From a young age, he demonstrated a keen interest in chemistry, medical science, technology, holistic medicine, and creating new things. He often spent his free time reading science journals, books on natural medicine, and creating/inventing new things. His dedication to learning and helping others led him to pursue a career in science, research, and business.
Dr. Castille attended Grambling State University (GSU), the University of Southwestern Louisiana (USL), Louisiana State University (LSU), and California University (CU) where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, a Master of Science in Engineering and Technology Management, and a Doctorate in Natural Medicine – all with honors. His academic excellence and passion for healthcare propelled him to franchise and publish the Southern Edition of Natural Awakenings Magazine for 11 years and founded The Natural Health Centers in Carencro, LA (LITEON Natural Health Center); Sunset, LA (DHARMA Wellness Center); Lafayette, LA (NAMASTE Wellness and Nutrition Center); and Opelousas, LA (The Caribbean Wellness Center).
Advocacy for Thermography Medical Imaging and Research in Inflammatory Diseases and Root Causes
A strong advocate for innovative medical technologies, Dr. Castille created the clinic and lab Thermography Medical Imaging of Acadiana and has been a vocal supporter for thermography medical imaging. Dr. Castille has authored multiple published articles on thermography and medical imaging. He has a 16-year research study with more than 3,200 clinical studies investigating oncological behaviors using artificial intelligence, decision support systems, and long-wave infrared thermography systems by measuring skin surface temperatures as a reflection of normal or abnormal human physiology within the long-wave infrared spectral range 7.5 µm – 13 µm. Thermography, which measures heat patterns on the body’s surface, enables early identification of inflammation-related disorders, thereby improving diagnosis and treatment outcomes.
Dr. Castille recognized the potential of thermography as a non-invasive, radiation-free method to detect physiological changes associated with significant health conditions, including breast cancer and systemic inflammation. He has actively promoted thermography integration into clinical practices and highlighted its benefits in early detection and improved patient outcomes. Through workshops, publications, and collaborations with medical imaging specialists, he strives to advance the use of thermography in routine diagnostics.
Inflammation is the root cause for almost every disease known. Dr. Castille began work as clinical researcher during his undergraduate studies at Grambling State University in the late 80s and with a comprehensive background in both allopathic and naturopathic medicine, has focused his clinical chemistry research on inflammation – again a fundamental process implicated in nearly every chronic disease. His work utilizing thermography medical imaging to non-invasively detect and monitor inflammatory conditions treated using herbal, traditional, and natural medicines lead to his development of the REMEDIES Natural Health Programs.
Dr. Castille’s research bridges the gap between traditional and modern medical practices, highlighting the significance of integrating holistic approaches with conventional medicine. His findings demonstrate that thermography can serve as a valuable diagnostic tool in both fields, offering a radiation-free alternative that complements other diagnostic methods. By detecting inflammation early, Dr. Castille’s work helps prevent the progression of diseases, supporting the body’s natural healing processes advocated by naturopathy, while also providing critical data for targeted treatments in allopathic medicine. His contributions underscore the importance of a holistic approach to health, fostering a more comprehensive and effective patient care model that addresses both physiological and holistic health needs.
Integrative Medicine, Natural Medicine, and Holistic Health
As a clinical chemistry researcher and naturopathic doctor who specializes in Integrative Medicine, Dr. Castille does not “practice medicine”. Naturopathic doctors DO NOT believe in “practicing medicine”; but instead teach their patients the appropriate holistic and self-care treatments, nutrition, exercise, and self-care.
Dr. Castille champions the use of traditional medicine, herbal remedies, and holistic self-care treatments for healing from diseases. Drawing on family and cultural traditions and clinically proven herbal and natural medicine recipes and instructions, he uses natural substances such as herbs, roots, nutrition, teas, vitamins, minerals, and enzymes to holistically to instruct the treatment of a wide range of ailments and enhance overall well-being. Dr. Castille fundamentally and practically does not believe in “practicing medicine” and says…
“We do not “practice medicine” here. We practice holistic, healing, natural, nutrition, diet, and common-sense approaches to wellness. We offer no prescription drugs, no surgeries, no invasive and harsh therapies. You will only find a natural path HERE. If you are here for any other reason – you are in the wrong place. We recommend you go and visit your general practitioner for prescription drugs – we will not be giving you any here.”
Dr. Castille believes in the clinical significance of these approaches, recognizing their ability to support the body’s natural healing processes, boost immunity, and alleviate symptoms with minimal side effects. He emphasizes the importance of self-care practices, including proper nutrition, regular exercise, and stress management, as essential components of a balanced lifestyle that prevents disease and promotes long-term wellness. By integrating these methods into his practice, Dr. Castille offers a comprehensive and personalized approach to healthcare, addressing not only the physical but also the emotional and spiritual aspects of his patients’ health.
Spiritual Aspects of Healthcare
Dr. Castille completed his first pre-med chemistry studies in the early 90s and today has 30+ years of experience in clinical chemistry and research. He began studying the spiritual aspects of healing in 2007 as it relates to managing stress, anxiety, depression, and autoimmune diseases. He further specialized in Integrative Medicine while working on his doctorate in natural medicine.
The spiritual aspects of healthcare recognize that health and healing extend beyond the physical body, encompassing the mind and spirit. This holistic approach acknowledges the profound impact of spiritual well-being on overall health, emphasizing practices that nurture inner peace, purpose, and connection. Incorporating spirituality into healthcare can enhance coping mechanisms, provide comfort, and improve the quality of life, especially in chronic illness or end-of-life care most often seen in cancer patients. By addressing spiritual needs alongside physical and emotional ones, healthcare Dr. Castille has been able to offer a more comprehensive, compassionate, and personalized approach to patient care.
Professional Achievements
Dr. Steven T. Castille is a multifaceted professional with 30+ years’ experience in research, natural medicine, and real estate development and investments. His real-estate development and investments have served as a foundation for his company and his personal investments in natural medicine, business, and research. His diverse career showcases his passion for healing, investing, and community engagement. Whether sipping Manglier Tea or negotiating real estate development deals, he leaves an indelible mark.
Dr. Castille has made significant contributions to the field of natural medicine. He is well known for his research on Manglier (mong-lee-AY) Tea and promoting it’s use as an anti-inflammatory medicinal plant. Although Manglier Tea is a folk and traditional medicine that has been passed on by many families for many generations, In the early 2000s Dr. Steven T. Castille was the first clinical researcher to study the clinical and therapeutic composition and benefits of Manglier Tea and to formally classify it as a medicinal plant. Using gas chromatography laboratory analysis research, he found the active ingredient to be Baccharis Oxide. Baccharis Oxide is a very powerful triterpenoid which is a highly multifunctional compound with very strong antiviral capability. The many general traditional medicinal uses of Baccharis include the treatment of bacterial/fungal infections.
The tea is typically made by steeping the dried leaves of the Baccharis halimifolia plant in hot water. The resulting brew is known for its bitter taste, which is why it is sometimes sweetened with honey or combined with other herbs to improve flavor. Dr. Castille published in 2010 in Natural Awakenings Magazine Acadiana Edition, the health benefits: Health Benefits as being an anti-inflammatory: The tea is believed to reduce inflammation, which can help with conditions like arthritis and other inflammatory diseases. It has extremely high antioxidant properties: Manglier tea contains compounds that may help fight oxidative stress, contributing to overall health and wellness. Manglier Tea has profound healing on respiratory health: it’s commonly used to alleviate symptoms of respiratory infections, such as congestion and sore throat.
As a research scientist, Dr. Castille pioneered artificial intelligence (AI) research. He developed artificial intelligence models and rule-based expert systems to predict oncological behavior in the late 90s. He developed the first Computer Aided Diagnostic Decision Support System (CADDSS) for predictive analytics in identifying nutrient deficiencies affecting health and healing. This groundbreaking system was a pivotal development from his thesis project at the University of Louisiana Lafayette.
Dr. Castille, the founder, and President of Saint Christopher College of Louisiana, leads an institution that is integral to the communities it serves.
