Acadiana Eats Festival Returns for a 3rd Year

“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.” — Psalm 34:8

The Acadiana Eats Festival, a cherished tradition in Southern Louisiana, is set to return for its third year on Saturday, October 26th. This beloved free event will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the West Village Development in Scott. Celebrated for its vibrant showcase of the region’s rich food culture, the festival promises a day of culinary delights and entertainment for all ages.

A Feast for the Senses

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights.” — James 1:17

With over 25 food vendors lined up, festival-goers will have the opportunity to indulge in a diverse array of delicious offerings. In addition to the mouthwatering food, attendees can explore pop-up vendors, enjoy live music performances, and partake in various activities that highlight the unique flavors and traditions of Acadiana. This year’s event aims to bring the community together in celebration of Southern Louisiana’s rich culinary heritage.

Partnerships and Sponsorships

“Two are better than one… If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.” — Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

The festival is made possible through a partnership between KLFY-TV and Social Entertainment, with primary sponsorship from Tony Chachere’s, a name synonymous with Louisiana cuisine. These collaborations ensure that the event continues to grow and thrive, providing an exceptional experience for all who attend.

Get Involved and Stay Informed

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” — 1 Peter 4:10

Arts and crafts pop-up vendors interested in participating can apply via the festival’s website. Additionally, subscribing to the Acadiana Eats newsletter will provide updates on participating restaurants and the music lineup.

Prayer for the Community

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the opportunity to come together and celebrate the diverse gifts You have given us. Bless the Acadiana Eats Festival, and may it be a joyful occasion that fosters unity and gratitude. Guide and protect all those involved, and may the festival be a testament to Your goodness and grace. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
