100 Black Men to Begin Construction on Mentoring Center – A Foundation for Hope

Building Up the Next Generation
The 100 Black Men of Greater Lafayette organization is preparing to break ground on a new mentoring center aimed at uplifting and empowering young men in the community. Leaders have expressed their desire to create a safe and inspiring environment where youth can learn, grow, and be guided toward success. “A mentoring center is exactly what this area needs,” one organizer said. This initiative aligns with Proverbs 22:6, which reminds us, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”

Seeking Support to Complete the Vision
While the group is ready to begin construction, additional funding is still needed to complete the project. They are calling on the community, businesses, and churches to help make this vision a reality. Galatians 6:9 encourages us, “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Together, the community can ensure this center opens its doors to inspire and guide future leaders.

Promoting Health, Education, and Character
The mentoring center will not only focus on academic and career development but will also promote health, life skills, and character-building. It will serve as a place where young men can find positive role models. Psalm 78:4 declares, “We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His power, and the wonders He has done.” The center will stand as a beacon of hope and strength.

Community Prayer
Lord, we thank You for the hearts and hands behind this mentoring center. Bless this project with the resources it needs. May it become a place where young men discover their potential and grow into leaders who serve You and their community. Amen.
