A Spectacle of Wonder and Inclusion
Lafayette, Louisiana, is about to experience the awe-inspiring magic of Omnium Circus. This world-class production, featuring acrobats, aerialists, jugglers, and comedic performers, will take the Heymann Performing Arts Center stage on March 14 at 7:30 p.m. This one-of-a-kind performance is designed to be accessible to all, incorporating American Sign Language, live audio descriptions, and other accommodations.
As 1 Corinthians 12:14 reminds us, “For the body does not consist of one member but of many.” Omnium Circus embodies this message, celebrating diversity and unity through its performances.
A Show for Everyone
Omnium’s 2025 show, “I’m Possible,” follows the heartwarming journey of Johnny, a young boy who dreams of joining the circus. His story unfolds with the guidance of Ringmaster Shai Yammanee and the artistry of Deaf dancer Malik Paris, inspiring audiences with a message of perseverance and hope.
The New York Times describes Omnium Circus as “genuinely extraordinary.” This performance is more than entertainment—it is a testament to the beauty of inclusivity and determination, mirroring Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
A Blessing for the Community
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of joy, creativity, and inclusivity that Omnium Circus brings to our community. May this event inspire hope, laughter, and unity among all who attend. Bless the performers, organizers, and audience members, ensuring a safe and uplifting experience. May this celebration remind us of the beauty of diversity and the power of perseverance. Amen.
