A Season of Joyful Gathering
LAFAYETTE, La. — This October, Zoosiana: The Zoo of Acadiana is inviting families to enjoy a full month of faith-filled fun, laughter, and community bonding during its annual Halloween Celebration. The event transforms the zoo into a family-friendly wonderland with festive decorations, gentle thrills, and wholesome activities for all ages. In a world often filled with fear and uncertainty, Zoosiana is reminding families of the beauty of light, life, and laughter. As Scripture reminds us, “This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24).
Bringing Families Together in God’s Creation
Zoosiana’s month-long celebration offers hayrides, pumpkin patches, and opportunities to see God’s creatures up close, encouraging families to marvel at His creation. Parents and children alike will find joy in connecting with animals and one another, echoing the words of Genesis 1:25 — “God made the beasts of the earth according to their kinds… and God saw that it was good.” Events like these foster gratitude for the wonders of nature and the fellowship of community.
