A Divine Connection: Friendship, Purpose, and a New Beginning in Carencro

It began with a simple, everyday moment—one of those encounters that could easily be overlooked, yet was destined for something greater. Ms. Vanessa Antoine, Katie Rivers, and Ruberta Rivers met inside the Carencro dollar store, each going about their day. A warm smile turned into a brief conversation, and that conversation quickly unfolded into laughter, shared stories, and a realization—they had just met kindred spirits. In that very moment, an instant friendship was born.

A Road Trip Led by Curiosity and Calling

Not long after, the three women decided to do something spontaneous. With a sense of joy and curiosity, they got into the car and set out on a small road trip around Carencro. Their conversation turned toward health, healing, and natural medicine—a shared interest that led them to one destination: the Enterprise Business Center of Louisiana. Specifically, they wanted to meet with Dr. Steve to learn more about natural approaches to wellness and healing.

What started as a casual visit quickly became something far more meaningful.

A Tour That Opened the Heart and Mind

Upon arriving at the Enterprise Business Center of Louisiana, they were welcomed warmly and introduced to the newly developed Carencro Senior City Club—a place designed with purpose, care, and community in mind.

As they toured the facility, each space spoke to a different part of the human experience:

  • The Lifestyle Center, where daily living meets enrichment
  • The Prayer Chapel, a peaceful sanctuary for reflection and spiritual renewal
  • The Art Gallery, filled with creativity and expression
  • The Fitness Center, promoting strength, mobility, and vitality
  • The Wellness Center, focused on holistic and natural health approaches

Each room affirmed that this was not just a building—it was a vision for living well, together.

More Than a Visit—A Place to Belong

By the end of their visit, Ms. Vanessa Antoine, Katie Rivers, and Ruberta Rivers were not just visitors—they were welcomed members. They received complimentary memberships and sat together enjoying coffee and tea, continuing the very conversation that brought them there.

The Carencro Senior City Club revealed itself as something special:
a true gathering place for seniors.

A place where you can:

  • Sit and enjoy coffee and tea with friends
  • Watch movies together in a relaxed, welcoming setting
  • Play board games and engage in fellowship
  • Walk, move, and stay active at your own pace
  • Participate in light fitness and wellness activities
  • Simply belong—to a community that values connection, purpose, and joy

A New Chapter Begins

What began as a chance meeting in a dollar store became a story of friendship, discovery, and community. Through a simple road trip, three women found not only each other—but a place where their lives could continue to grow, connect, and thrive.

At the Carencro Senior City Club, moments like these are not rare—they are the foundation.

And for Ms. Vanessa Antoine, Katie Rivers, and Ruberta Rivers, this was just the beginning of many more conversations, shared cups of coffee, and meaningful days ahead.
