Local Freshman Achieves Perfect ACT Score

Lafayette, LA. – Ascension Episcopal School is celebrating a remarkable achievement by one of its freshmen, Lilly Sheets. Lilly recently received a perfect score of 36 on the ACT, a feat accomplished by less than 1% of students nationwide.

According to the school, Lilly was surprised and humbled by the results. “At first, I thought it might be a mistake,” she shared in a statement. “I was hoping for a score in the high twenties, but a 36? I never expected that!”

Congratulations, Lilly! May your journey be filled with purpose and blessings.

A Prayer for Our Students: Inspired by Lilly Sheets’ Achievement

Heavenly Father,

We lift our hearts in thanksgiving today, inspired by the incredible achievement of young Lilly Sheets. Her perfect score on the ACT is a testament to dedication, hard work, and the boundless potential you have instilled in each student.

As Lilly embarks on her academic journey, we pray for all our students. Grant them the focus and clarity of mind to grasp new concepts. Guide their hands as they write, and bless their memories as they retain knowledge.

Light a fire within them, a burning desire to learn and grow in their understanding of the world you created. Nurture their curiosity and transform it into a thirst for knowledge that glorifies you.

For those facing challenges, we beseech your strength. Ease anxieties and frustrations, replacing them with unwavering confidence in your plan. Open doors to supportive mentors and teachers who can guide them with wisdom and compassion.

Above all, Lord, we pray that our students may see themselves as your instruments. May they use their education to serve others, spread kindness, and build a world that reflects your love.

We place our students in your loving care, dear God. May they flourish in their studies and walk a path filled with purpose and faith.

In your holy name, we pray. Amen.
