Imagine you’re facing a difficult challenge. Wouldn’t it be comforting to know that someone powerful and influential is praying for you? Someone like Billy Graham or another renowned spiritual leader?
A Higher Intercessor
The Bible reveals that we have a far greater advocate than any human leader: Jesus Christ. As Romans 8:34 states, “Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.” Jesus, the Son of God, is constantly interceding on our behalf.
Unlike human intercessors, Jesus is always available, always attentive, and always effective. He knows our needs intimately and presents them to the Father with compassion and authority.
The Power of Intercession
When we face trials, we can find solace in the knowledge that Jesus is praying for us. We can trust that He is working on our behalf, and that His prayers are always answered.
So, the next time you feel overwhelmed or discouraged, remember that you have the greatest Intercessor of all. Jesus is praying for you, and His prayers are more powerful than any human prayer.
