Carencro, LA — Entrepreneurs and community members gathered at the Enterprise Business Center of Louisiana for the latest Small Business Expo, where education, empowerment, and social responsibility took center stage.
The event featured a presentation by World Financial Group (WFG), delivered by JV Bernard, Tiffany Granger, and Sven “Seven” Poullard. Following their presentation, Ashley Lane, a realtor with CarterNeuville Realty, took the stage to offer real estate insight and a powerful personal message. Representing clients across Louisiana in residential, commercial, and rental properties, Lane highlighted her deep roots in Carencro and her dedication to making real estate transactions smooth and stress-free.

But Lane’s presentation went beyond business. She used her platform to raise urgent awareness about bullying, recounting a heartbreaking incident she witnessed at the local library involving a child being bullied for struggling to read. Drawing from personal experience as a mother of a bullying survivor, Lane delivered a moving call to action.
“We have to put a stop to this,” she said. “Talk to your children. Let them know bullying is not okay, and if they’re being bullied, they must speak up. We’ve lost too many kids already.”
Lane encouraged the community to take bullying seriously, reminding parents that emotional wounds can have lasting and tragic consequences.
