Christian Women Serving Through Creativity
LAFAYETTE, La. — On November 7 and 8, 2025, the Covenant Methodist Church will host the H.I.S. (Hearts In Service) Artisan Market, a unique event where faith and craftsmanship intersect for a greater purpose. This initiative is led by a group of devoted Christian women who use their God-given talents to create handmade items throughout the year. By sharing their gifts, these women embody 1 Peter 4:10: “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
Supporting Local Nonprofits Through Giving
What makes the H.I.S. Artisan Market truly special is its mission of generosity. All proceeds from the sales go to a local nonprofit, ensuring that every purchase directly blesses someone in need. This year’s market continues a long-standing tradition of selfless service, demonstrating that Christian stewardship is not only about managing resources but also about sharing blessings with the community. As Acts 20:35 reminds us, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
A Celebration of Community and Fellowship
The market is more than a shopping experience — it’s a gathering of hearts united in faith. Visitors can explore a variety of handmade crafts while engaging with the artisans, learning their stories, and witnessing God’s love at work in tangible ways. The H.I.S. Artisan Market embodies the spirit of fellowship, service, and creativity, offering families and friends an opportunity to connect while supporting the greater good.
A Prayer for the Community
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the hands, hearts, and talents of those who serve others through the H.I.S. Artisan Market. Bless the artisans, the nonprofits they support, and every visitor who comes to participate. May this event glorify You, strengthen our community, and remind all of us to serve with love and generosity. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
