VILLE PLATTE, La. — A spirit of hope and opportunity filled the air as Evangeline Reimagine Academy celebrated the grand opening of its new campus with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Community members, educators, and families gathered to witness a milestone that promises to shape the future of local students. Designed for 6th through 8th graders, the campus emphasizes hands-on learning in business, agriculture, and technology—equipping students not only for academic success but for life. The moment reflected Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you… plans to give you hope and a future.”
A VISION ROOTED IN PURPOSE AND POSSIBILITY
At the heart of the academy’s mission is a commitment to helping students discover their God-given purpose. Principal Alice Lejeune shared a vision of building a pathway from the classroom to the community, where students can grow into confident, capable leaders. The school’s focus on real-world skills encourages young people to see beyond limitations and step boldly into their calling. This aligns with Proverbs 16:3: “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” Through guidance and mentorship, the academy seeks to inspire students to become “unstoppable” in both faith and action.

Inside the new campus, education takes on a dynamic and practical approach. Students engage in projects that mirror real-life challenges, from developing business ideas to exploring agricultural innovation and modern technology. STUDENT MARKET AND EXPO SHOWCASES TALENT AND CREATIVITY
The ribbon-cutting celebration also introduced the community to the school’s third annual Student Market and Expo—an event highlighting the entrepreneurial spirit of its students. Visitors had the opportunity to explore and purchase student-created products, food, and experiences, while enjoying activities such as an escape room, putt-putt golf, and festive photo opportunities. The expo reflects a culture of innovation and collaboration, giving students a platform to share their talents. This mirrors Matthew 5:16: “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
