LAFAYETTE, La. — Lafayette is preparing for an afternoon of music, culture, creativity, and family fellowship as the Okra, Music & Arts Festival returns for its fifth annual celebration. The free community event is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 20, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Heymann Park, located at 1500 S. Orange St. in Lafayette.

The annual festival provides an opportunity for residents and visitors to come together and celebrate the diverse cultural traditions and creative expressions that help make Lafayette unique.
