Luke 18: 13

It is important to be humble when we are praying or asking for God’s forgiveness. The tax collector showed true understanding of his wrong doings and expressed that instead of making excuses for his actions.

“But the tax collector stood at a distance, he would not even look up to heaven but beat his breast and said ‘GOD, have mercy on me, a sinner’” Luke 18: 13
