LAFAYETTE, La. — Several Ochsner Health hospitals across Louisiana have earned the prestigious “High Performing” designation for maternity care in U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 Best Hospitals rankings. This award is the highest honor given in the annual study, recognizing hospitals for excellence in birthing-friendly practices, favorable newborn complication rates, and transparency in addressing racial and ethnic disparities.

The following Ochsner facilities were recognized for their outstanding maternity services:
- Ochsner Medical Center – New Orleans (including West Bank and Baptist campuses)
- Ochsner Medical Center – Kenner
- Ochsner LSU Health-St. Mary Medical Center – Shreveport
- Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center
