Faith, Flavor, and Fellowship Unite at the Acadiana Eats Festival

A Celebration of Community and God’s Blessings
SCOTT, La. — The aroma of Cajun cuisine and the sounds of joyful fellowship will fill the air as Gerald Gruenig and the Acadiana Eats Festival return to West Village in Scott for the festival’s fourth edition on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The beloved food festival, inspired by Gruenig’s popular KLFY News 10 TV segment, will showcase the best local restaurants and chefs who represent the heart and flavor of Acadiana. This gathering is more than a culinary celebration—it’s a reflection of God’s abundant provision. As Psalm 107:9 reminds us, “For He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.”

Food, Fellowship, and Faith-Filled Fun
The Acadiana Eats Festival is known for bringing people together over one of life’s simplest joys—food. Local favorites and new culinary talents will offer a variety of dishes, each seasoned with the spirit of Louisiana and served with love. Families and friends are encouraged to come hungry and ready to enjoy a day filled with laughter, live music, and community connection. In a world that often feels divided, events like this remind us of the beauty of unity. “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!” (Psalm 133:1).

A Taste of Gratitude and Giving
Beyond the food and festivities, the Acadiana Eats Festival is a celebration of gratitude—for local talent, community, and the culture that brings people together. As Acadiana gathers to share a meal, it becomes a living expression of God’s goodness and grace, demonstrating that even through food, we can glorify Him. “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31).

A Prayer for the Community
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the blessings of food, fellowship, and faith. Bless the organizers, participants, and all who attend the Acadiana Eats Festival. May this event nourish hearts as well as bodies, strengthen community ties, and reflect Your love in every shared meal. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
