A Gathering of Neighbors

Vineyard Church in Lafayette is fostering a sense of community through their monthly “gathering,” a luncheon held on the last Sunday of every month. The event brings together church members and their neighbors, creating a space for connection and fellowship.

Building Stronger Bonds

Danielle Cointot, a church member, highlights the importance of such gatherings, especially after the isolation brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. “Coming together after those years has made me feel like my community is stronger, I feel safe,” she says. She emphasizes the joy of forming new friendships and deepening existing relationships.

A Heart for Community

Senior Pastor Bryan Keelin shares his vision for the church as a community that loves well. “We are a community that loves each other, that loves our neighbor well, and so as we get together and hang out, we get to practice that,” he explains. He encourages members to be both recipients and givers of love and support.

An Open Invitation

Vineyard Church welcomes all who are seeking a sense of belonging and connection. Sunday services are held from 10 AM to 12 PM, offering an opportunity to experience the warm and welcoming community firsthand.

A Prayer for Community

Let us pray that God will continue to bless the efforts of Vineyard Church to build a strong and loving community. May their gatherings be a source of joy, encouragement, and spiritual growth for all who attend. May the bonds formed within this community inspire others to love their neighbors as themselves.
