FIRST GRADERS CELEBRATE PUBLISHING MILESTONE THROUGH CREATIVITY AND LANGUAGE
LAFAYETTE, La. — First-grade students at Myrtle Place Elementary School have achieved a remarkable milestone, becoming published authors through their French Immersion program. The class collaborated to create a book titled “La Bataille Magique” (“The Magical Battle”), showcasing their creativity, teamwork, and growing bilingual skills.

The accomplishment reflects the biblical truth found in Psalm 127:3: “Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from Him.” Educators and families alike celebrated the project as a joyful reminder that young minds, when nurtured, can produce meaningful and imaginative work.
