Travel content creator Jack Kadis, who is walking the outline of the United States, recently made his way through South Louisiana, where local residents welcomed him with kindness, conversation, and genuine hospitality.

Carrying little more than a backpack and a phone, Kadis has traveled thousands of miles on foot, documenting not only the landscapes he encounters but also the people who open their hearts along the way.
