Homework Louisiana, a free online tutoring service provided through the State Library of Louisiana, gives students and adult learners access to live, qualified tutors seven days a week. The program offers an important reminder that asking for help is not a weakness—it can be part of the learning process.

Proverbs 1:5 says, “Let the wise hear and increase in learning.” Education is a lifelong pursuit, and seeking guidance when something is difficult can demonstrate wisdom and humility.

THOUSANDS OF TUTORS READY TO HELP
Homework Louisiana provides one-on-one assistance from more than 4,000 vetted tutors covering nearly 200 subjects. Support ranges from elementary reading and mathematics to high school chemistry, college writing and standardized test preparation.

The program is available to Louisiana residents of all ages, including K-12 students, college students and adults. No appointment is required, making assistance available when students encounter a difficult assignment or need additional preparation.

Tutors are available seven days a week from 10 a.m. until midnight. Students can access the service through a Louisiana public library, a home computer or a mobile device by visiting HomeworkLA.org.

Homework Louisiana extends beyond traditional tutoring. The program offers preparation for the ACT, GED and HiSET, self-paced practice resources, writing review, job-search assistance, resume support and practice interviews.
